Mr. Fu Qijing

Mr Fu Qijing is a Deputy Senior State Counsel with the Civil Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore (“AGC”). He provides legal advice on a wide spectrum of issues and represents the Singapore Government in domestic legal proceedings, including civil suits, land acquisition appeals, regulatory proceedings, inquiries, and judicial review matters. Prior to his current role, Qijing was a Deputy Public Prosecutor with the former State Prosecution Division of AGC, where he prosecuted on a variety of criminal offences, both in the first stance before the State Courts as well as on appeal before the High Court. Qijing holds an LLB (Hons, Second Upper) from the National University of Singapore. He subsequently pursued postgraduate studies in Columbia Law School on a Legal Service Commission Scholarship, where he graduated with an LLM degree as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar in recognition of his academic achievements and was also awarded the Columbia Law School Postgraduate Social Justice and Government Fellowship.
